Find Konica Minolta Copier/Printer Serial via SNMP

I recently needed to find the serial numbers of all of our Konica Minolta copiers and printers. A quick Google search didn't bring up any results so I figured I'd post what I found here. I was able to accomplish this via SNMP on Windows.

First, download SnmpGet (either compile from net-snmp or download the binary). Next launch a command prompt and navigate to where snmpget.exe resides. You can now query the copier/printer using the below string:

snmpget -q -o:<OID> -c:<community string> -v:2c -r:<ip address>

For the OID, see below:

  • For most models, use `.1.3.6.1.2.1.43.5.1.1.17.1`
  • For 4700P, use `.1.3.6.1.4.1.18334.1.1.1.5.2.7.0`
  • For 3320, use `.1.3.6.1.4.1.18334.1.1.2.1.5.2.1.1.4.2`
  • See below example:
    snmpget -q -o:.1.3.6.1.2.1.43.5.1.1.17.1 -c:public -v:2c -r:10.1.1.1
